She really is not bad at all. She's not powerful but she has a nice voice. Her ability to evoke emotions is on point, and if you've ever seen her in her element, with her acoustic guitar, playing for fans you will see that she's actually quite good. She lets her nerves get the best of her on award shows which is why she's often flat.
I don't particularly like Beyonce but if she wound up with an 8, then I think a 6 is appropriate for Taylor. I'd say she's a bit above average for singing.
