It's terrible how just one Demi stan expressed his opinion made this thread a "Selena's performance on MMA: Demi VS Selena" thread. I haven't said the video so I'm not gonna say anything about the performance yet.
I can't with people defending her by saying 'what do you expect', well I don't know about you but I expect people who get paid to sing to be able to actually sing, are you saying it is ok that she is bad at her job?
It isn't exactly a vocally challenging song and the choreo wasn't very demanding. She is cute and she is a good enough actress but why anyone would actually pay with their own hard earned money to see her do this live is totally beyond me...but then I suppose the people who go to see her live get their parents to buy the tickets.
You know what, I'm not even going to be negative. She looked sexy, her dancing was decent, and at least we could actually hear her vocals instead of her just whispering and prancing around stage like she usually does.
I mean, what's the use of her (immensely basic) choreography when she's not even singing nicely? She's no Britney who can lipsync and dance and it'll still be entertaining.
I'll take brilliant vocal performance whilst just standing compared to this mess. Adele doesn't move but she clearly entertains more than this. Demi's messy performance is still so much better than this especially considering how Heart Attack is so much better than Come and Get It vocally. Demi can easily sing Come and Get It while dancing that choreography.
