this year all da performance sux except some of it like Mariah , Kelly , Kanye...
im sooo happy Beyonce won Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals
im only this cuz of DC , well they all look flawless no doubt about that , love that dress !
they are some really really sux winner like U2 win many of da award !

BEST PERFORMANCES:
-Mariah Carey > The "Fly Like A Bird" part. She proved to all nonbelievers that she can sing live. WBT was partially lipped and she seems to have a hard time performing lyrics that are recquired to be sung quickly.
-Paul McCartney > The "Helter Skelter" half was crazy good. "Fine Line" was the typical boring Paul we all know.
-Kelly Clarkson > "Because of You". Almost flawless, f---ing amazing.
-Madonna > "Hung Up". Vocally, she was great, probably the best vocal performance of "Hung Up" yet.
-Kanye West > I preferred the "Touch The Sky" part to the "Gold Digger" part mainly because the song is better.
...there could be more but I can't remember as of now.
HELL YEAHS:
-Kelly winning her first 2 awards. She is officially a superstar.
-Mariah winning 3, bringing her total to 5.
-Kanye winning 3, bringing his total to 6.
-Ciara looking fine as hell and bringing some entertainment to the so called Sly reunion AKA gigantic on-stage mess. She also one a Grammy with Missy for the "Lose Control" video.
-50 Cent one nothing, hahaha !

BOOS:
Green Day DID NOT deserve to win SOTY. How is a generic, depressing rock song like that even able to be nominated in that catergory. This isn't the early 90's anymore, we're happy again.
I'm pretty sure that U2 themselves knew they didn't deserve Album Of The Year, I could tell by their reactions while up on stage accepting it. I kind felt bad for them though, they're great guys.
John Legend is a musical phony. He didn't deserve anything tonight and he sounded like a horse while performing.

Hmmm...Kelly Clarkson sings better then Mariah now. Maybe she should be called "the voice". Just a thought.

Kanye didn't deserve ****. The Grammy's only gave him the awards so that he wouldn't throw a fit and possibly murder one of them like any typical rapper would.
Kelly won 2 awards. Big deal, nine inch nails have 2 under their belt* and you don't see me calling them "superstars." The same could be said for a lot of people, but oh, when it's Ms. American Idol, she's "almost flawless?" If someone said that about a rock band people would be bitching all over.
*Would've been 3 tonight if that piece of **** System of a Down song didn't win.
I've never really given an ear to John Legend, but you're calling him a "musical phony" when you like Ciara? Case closed.

yea kelly did sound WAYYYY better than mariah did. also, i felt like i wanted to chop off that damn hand of hers just so it would stop going all over the damn place. man she annoys me.

PERFORMANCES
GOOD:
-The Paul McCartney performance of Helter Skelter was great and I never expect to like a song from him. Also, when he came out during the Jay-Z/Linkin Park performance and Chester went into Yesterday, that was hot.
-Madonna & Gorillaz performance, what a good way to open the show. Even though Madonna should get a skirt, she really rocked it.
-John Legend was good for once (he hadn't impressed me until now) I have more respect for him and he might be around for a long time.
-U2 and Mary J Blige duet, that was incredible. Maybe they should record another song together.
-Kelly Clarkson's performance was easily the best of all. That piece they showed of her in 2001 was pretty priceless for me.
BAD:
-Mariah Carey, I'm sorry girl but you really didn't get it perfect this time.
-The All-Star tribute to Sly & The Family Stone wasn't that great.
-Herbie Hancock & Christina Aguilera, this bored me to sleep. Sorry Christina but they should've checked your style before performing. You looked as bad as Britney did when she won her grammy.
AWARDS/APPEARANCES
GOOD:
-John Legend, U2, Kelly Clarkson and Jay-Z/Linkin Park deserved to win their awards, especially Kelly. I loved that speech she gave when she won the first one.
-Kanye and 50 not winning that much.
-Green Day winning Song Of The Year was nice to see. You may not think that way, but that's how I see it.
BAD:
-Chris Brown looked awful when he was presenting with Santana.

Actually I really slept during Herbie and Christina's performance. lol And I didn't understand the comment about Britney, cause, as far as I can remember, Britney wasn't at last year's Grammy. 
Kelly's performance was my favourite, but I also loved U2's and Mariah's.
About the awards: once again they robbed Mariah, in my opinion. It was acceptable to lose "Song of the Year", but "Record of the Year"? Gimme a break. 
Plus, I was so happy to see Kelly winning! I mean, I didn't expect that, so I was  and  , heheehe.

So happy for Kelly, the Sly tribute was messed up..Sly did ****?, Kanye deserved album of the year, TG Mariah was robbed, Gwen I kinda felt bad she didn't win, was Chris Brown drunk? He slurred everything...and I'm lovin this Kanye song/video
