Yes. Taylor's lyrics have no depth or diversity. Katy on the other hand has phenomenal empowering songs, songs about relationships, songs about her own personal struggles, etc. and you just get to see much more than one dimension of her life because of it.

I think they're both very diverse. I'd say Taylor's lyrics are more poetic but Katy's are easier to understand.

As a fair stan of both, Taylor is the superior songwriter but they're both great. That being said, like others mentioned it's impossible to know how much of a song an artist wrote but I think they're both good songwriters.

My point exactly! The clown woman CO (co--not WROTE, CO!)-wrote literally a fourth of prism, and less than half of TD. Of Katy's overall discography, that means Bonnie is involved in less than a fifth of it--maybe less. Katy doesn't rely on her. Her music was more artistic and personable before the clown ever entered the scene, so when katy hopefully ditches Bonnie for the next record, I bet we will be even more growth. Katy DOESNT need or rely on her at all
