I'm amused at the people laughing. Katy's numbers are an improvement over her last two albums. And to be quite blunt, she had more singles go #1 last era than some artists have had their entire career, so keep it cute.

She solds MILLIONS of singles, including one already with Prism. Her label said this is a marathon, not a sprint. Opening up at over 275K is a major deal in this age of music. And most artists would rather have longevity than front loaded sales anyway.

No one in their right mind was predicting 600k. Katy doesn't have that kind of power and her stans know that. The haters set her up with these kind of predictions just to tear her down. LIke lmao just stop.
