Adele shouldn't be discussed. Yes of course she slayed beyond measure but that is one album. For all we know that's a one time thing. Let's see if she has another successful album. That's the same way I feel about Gaga and Katy Perry. They still need to prove themselves. Rihanna needed to prove herself and she did it. Brit and Bey proved themselves a long time ago. Bey is still doing it- the ultimate KING.
Yes, it's time for Britney to go. I'm sorry, but she is a boardaline hasbeen. I can't at people saying Bey is the one getting kicked out, there's a reason Beyonce is doing the super bowl and Britney is doing reality TV.
When Rihanna was abused she had no album out. When she started talking to the press about it she did.
I don't know how to please you though. You've asked for instances when Beyonce was in the news, I gave you at least 5 rather large stories or stories that were continually picked up as they happened (Instagram, Tumblr, etc.), on a year when Beyonce was on a break and you push them aside. It doesn't matter what the content was, she was still in the news in 2012. And her name wasn't just in the magazine, is on it, under the words World's Most Beautiful Woman. And that news was everywhere.

Most of those sales were 99 cent singles. Britney made a pop album, obviously the singles will be more successful. 4 sold more than FF. Britney will never headline the superbowl, she doesn't have the talent to do it.

It has been proven that the underperformance of one album says nothing about what will happen with the next unless you're... I'll save that for another time. But look at RR & LOUD for example.
I don't see Rihanna as enough of an 'artist' to be part of the trinity. She's purely the vessel of talented producers and songwriters
