I watched a Nintendo direct featuring him before. He was nice. I read that he’s behind the success of the Wii and 3DS. I had fun times with my brothers playing the Wii and my youngest brother had fun times playing the 3DS. Nintendo is a part of my childhood from the SNES to the 64 to the GameCube and it’s sad to see that he passed away at 55. I never knew about his health condition though. It’s a big loss for the gaming community. R.I.P.
