It was leaked. Tidal leaked the album , they were never supposed to sell it, Rihanna even said in her interview the album deal with Samsung was: it was going to be put up for streaming only via Tidal a day before its Friday digital release.

If y'all wanna think of Anti as a flop by all means do so but at least get the facts straight.

I'm saying the album 'leak' was being put on sale early, so people still could buy it (and those sales did count for the charts). Even then it was for like three hours? before official release versus TLOP being out for two months before the official release week that counted for charts.

For two months TLOP wasn't on sale, and people couldn't buy it and nothing counted for the charts at all. I wasn't downplaying Rihanna's situation, but it's not close to what Kanye's situation is lol.

And what makes the streams even more impressive is people have been listening to this album for two months (whether illegal downloads or TIDAL streams that didn't count). Most people get tired of an album after two months, or play it much much less by then.

The fact this still had record breaking streams after being held out that long is undeniably impressive.
