Listened to the whole album for the first time. I'm already having an LSS with Sea of Lovers! My new favorite!!

What do you all think of "The Words"!? That was my favorite at the listening party, I think it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Do you all prefer Head or Heart to Lovestrong?

The first verse of The Words is amazing. And I love the piano

I can't really compare Lovestrong and Head/Heart. They are not so different, but I'm glad it doesn't feel like a Lovestrong 2.0.
Some of her best tracks are on Lovestrong, but Head/Heart has a few gems as well. It's too early for me to decide.

And I'll say it again: Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Butterfly Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ is the best song! My favorite song of 2014 so far

This is probably my favorite album of the year so far.

Butterfly, One Night, Shot Me In The Heart, Trust, and Be My Forever are my favorites right now, though they keep changing.

I remember loving that one at the listening party, her vocals are haunting in that song

I also remember Shot Me In The Heart sounding like it was from a different music era, like it sounded quite retro if you get me? Can anybody who's listening to the leak comment?

SMITH does sound a little retro influenced, mostly in the chorus. Lonely Child is quite different too, I wouldn't know how to describe it. Those are probably the two worst songs on the album too, imo.

When I went to the listening party in London a few weeks back, Christina said that each song is either a "head" song or a "heart" song. She said she knows exactly which songs are which but will never share, as she wants us to make our own interpretation when we hear the album back. The whole "head or heart" concept is something to keep in mind and interpret when listening to the record.

I can't really get into Run ... and The Words is okay, but the rest of the album slays hard.

Nothing beats Arms but the album overall is better, I think. I wanted a song like Black & Blue/Bang Bang Bang

I gave in and listened to the stream on Amazon that Christina posted

Anyway, the album is more perfect than I remembered. I think it's a lot more coherent and stronger than Lovestrong. My favorites are The Words, Run and Shot Me In The Heart. I find her vocals in Run really haunting.

What I love the most about this album is the balance. She has a perfect mix of up tempo (Burning Gold/Be My Forever), mid-tempo (One Night) and ballads (The Words). I also think lyrically this album is a whole other level above Lovestrong. I just can't wait to hear them all live now!
