CLARKSON SLAMS 'EARLY' GREATEST HITS
Singer KELLY CLARKSON has slammed artists like HILARY DUFF and MANDY MOORE because they have released greatest hits albums too soon.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a string of hit songs since winning TV talent competition American Idol in 2002 - but insists she won't be putting out a compilation of her best tracks until later in her career.
She says, "Doing a greatest hits would be crazy. I am not 50. Artists who do one after three albums think their career is coming to an end."

Hilarys label was pressuring her to release a new album, she didnt have time to record a full CD between filming and touring, so she threw on some new songs and remixed some others, so sue her! Plus, it was not a greatest hits album, and neither was Mandy Moore's, hers was a 'BEST OF' album. An album of rarities and hits put together.

Of course it isn't. She doesn't have any GREAT hit.
It's a slam, but not to a particular artists, just in general.....and yes Hilary needs a hit before she can do a greatest hits. That'll be in another 40 years.
^Exactly. Very true. GH albums should be done after a good decade long career. Hilary Duff for examples, is not justified. There have been a couple of artists who have released GH albums just to rap up record deals though (like Christina Milian). It's silly to have a GH album with a lot of new material. There should be a solid 12 singles before you go there.
