The album may be all over the place, but it is honestly enjoyable. Although I can see a lot of the tracks being sung by Rihanna (like Gun Shot, Marilyn Monroe, Beautiful Sinner and more)

and I just didn't like MDNA at all, Madonna's voice just sounds very weak throughout, especially on songs like I'm Addicted and Beautiful Killer, and the songs are just very forgettable with similar production. But when you have to look at it objectively (which is what reviewers/music critics do) what makes it a good album?

and as for MDNA, I'm not surprised at all. The album obviously has its flaws, but you shouldn't say an album is terrible just because she's released stuff like Ray of Light. MDNA was much more diverse and artistically fulfilling than PF:RR.

I guess we just have different ideas of what makes a good album, which is fine, but it just means there's no way to come to an agreement. I think the huge range of songs, from hard hip-hop to fluffy, silly pop makes PF:RR much, much more diverse than MDNA, where almost all of the songs are mid- to uptempo songs with similar pulsating beats throughout. I didn't say it was terrible, because it definitely wasn't, but, going into the album, I expected more and don't think it was a very strong album. I don't think it deserved a better score than PF:RR.
