They've already planned another single to launch the album and this time hopefully, with an X-Factor performance.You have to realise that Nathaniel Willemse didn't even debut on the Arias charts during the first week of releasing his new song "Flava". And this is coming off the back of a platinum selling single.
Also, if you look at Guy Sebastian, you can understand why he releases new music only during the X-Factor live shows. Same goes for Jess Mauboy. It's a timing issue - Sammi has been releasing singles mostly outside these Primetime TV periods.
If she chooses the right single and gets the right opportunity, it will do well. She hasn't yet had an X-Factor opportunity to propel her song from the beginning of its life (Firestarter was performed months after its debut). Guy Sebastian and Jess Mauboy on the other hand have had the opportunity multiple times.
