I feel if they went with an iPhone 6 body for the SE, it would cannibalize the sales of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. I think it's strategic - a great performing 4 inch entry level phone that doesn't threaten the flagship 6s model.

For an entry level model, I was expecting on par with an iPhone 5c enclosure-wise. For being a low cost entry level model, they did a pretty good job!

It's so unfortunate to see the demise of Apple, they seem to just be throwing things out there and hoping it sticks. It's quite messy and becoming as unorganized as Android

My contract isn't up until 2017 so I'm going to see what the Galaxy S8/Edge vs iPhone 7S offer, that'll be the determining factor if I go back to iPhone or not.

Glad there were no new Macbooks updates, I was gritting my teeth because I got the Mid 2015 15" Macbook Pro for XMAS and I would have been lowkey mad if they announced the color options, I would KILL for a space grey Macbook Pro.

No the current version only just got released in November or so, but theres a software update for it. If you're wanting to get one you should still probably get one now

Hello there, this is my first ever iPhone order so I have no idea how this works... Can someone explain it to me?
I'm going to preorder the 64 GB Gold iPhone SE on Thursday, but it says the availability begins March 31st. So, does that mean it will be at my house/Apple Store that day or is that when it begins to ship? I'm going to be in Los Angeles the week of April 3-9, so if it begins shipping that day, I won't be home to receive it.
Can I just get it shipped to the store instead if that is in fact how it works?
I don't know anything about this process, so I'm very lost.

I shat a brick when I heard this because I ordered an iPhone 6 two hours ago and had no idea of this, thankfully I hate the small screen and I wouldn't have wanted this anyway.

Ikr. This shows they're listening to their customers which is more important I think than innovation that isn't needed or even releasing something big and different that isn't ready yet.

be at your home that day unless you pick the pick up at the store then they will hold it for you till you get there.

I don't know why they needed a media update to announce a budget phone and a minor upgrade to the iPad line up. That's not worth an hour long media event.

The problem is that doesnt require a media event. There is a demand for 4" phones. Several of my friends who just but iPhone 6s's said they may return them in favor of the iPhone SE.
