Girls, I am HOOKED! I finished The Hunger Games the night of my last post in this thread and now I am already at page 251 of Catching Fire. Katniss and Peeta just watched the tape of Haymitch's victory in the Second Quarter Quell.

I got so interested by reading the outline of the story that I am ordering tomorrow The Hunger Games along with the other two books.

So I'm reading the 1st book for the first time. And...I don't wanna spoil, so I'll just say, when I was reading Chapter 18, my iTunes, which is usually on shuffle, started playing 'Set Apart This Dream' by Flyleaf. Can we say appropriate? Needless to say, I had to put the book down for a few minutes to get myself together emotionally.

I legit squealed when she said "real". I shipped KatnissxGale in the first 2 books...but then, after the second time in the arena, I realized that Katniss really did love Peeta. Plus, Katniss and Gale are like fire and fire. But Peeta was a good balance for her. And that boy is just so sweet and just amazing. haha. I love him. And so, I became a PeetaxKatniss shipper. I loved the ending of Mockingjay. I thought it was really beautiful. I'm glad she didn't pick Gale, tbh. But I wish we'd known more about his whereabouts. He just kind of disappeared to District 2. :/

That's my favorite part of Catching Fire. It gives Haymitch so much more depth as a character as they see what he went through out there and how he used his intelligence to win.
Haymitch is also my favorite character, so that's another reason I loved it so much. lol.

I like it as expected!

As for my fave, I'm torn between book 1 and book 2
Book 3 was nice too but the ending could have been better

I feel like the only person on the planet who loved Mockingjay. It was a close second to my favorite book of the trilogy. D;

I went to see Abduction today. Movie sucked. But in the previews, they showed The Hunger Games' teaser trailer. So it was all worth it. haha
This is the first time I've seen THG on the big screen. I fangirled pretty hard XD

Amazon just delivered the first book a few days ago. I'm waiting for some downtime to start reading. I've heard nothing but absolute praise.
