Pray tell, if TD and TD:CC is considered one album, then why did Part Of Me hitting #1 not contribute to MJ record that Katy tied with TD? She would have beaten MJ's record but Billboard said NO. It is two different albums and PoM was considered the first #1 of TD:CC, not the 7th #1 from TD.
They tried to protect MJ's legacy. They still count both versions sales together. And the physical even has the same cover/artwork.
Diamonds was remixed with Kanye, Only Girl was discounted, S&M was remixed. Don't act like Rihanna doesn't get influenced by Katy's techniques of achieving #1's. KATY HA POWA
Well I'm glad you keep up with Rih like that, maybe we can welcome you one day.

Except billboard already give biggest artist of the 2010s to Rihanna
we're less than halfway through the 2010s, how could Billboard predict the future?
Katy and Rihanna are both slaying, both have excuses (for Rihanna, the fact that she has 8 albums plus the three she's featured on, and the remixes and discounts, and for Katy, the fact that she remixed and discounted some of the TD singles) but in the end, both are slaying the pop world
