Yes, I agree. As I said, it's too early on in her career to make strong judgement though. The comparisons to Rihanna, I have never really endorsed. I think her styling and overall look is what makes people think "Rihanna", but in terms of sound she is quite various. "Party and ********" is very Katy but less bubblegum and more edgy. However, her collaborations like "Hot Right Now" with DJ Fresh are quite different and even rather distinctive. I think she can do a lot of things though. From generic, to different stuff to acoustic. I have been lead to believe that she has a lot of versatility. That's not a bad thing though. She'll be able to expand her appeal to a lot of listeners. Not just one selection of the demographic. People just have to give this girl a chance.
