Well... I don't know if it's possible to outlast someone you have yet to match. Katy has about 50,000,000 overall records to sell before she matches Gaga's total, including 10,000,000 albums. She also has about 100 more awards to win and over $300,000,000 to gross. She also needs to break Asia and become relevant there. Until then, she won't match or "outlast" Gaga. I mean, what good is "outlasting" someone you have yet to match in success?

but wait aren't gaga's new tour tickets cheaper than the past one? let's see how it gross she is a good touring artist tbh

Do you guys ever bother to do any kind of research? The only tickets that are cheaper are the less popular seats and they're cheaper to offset the expensive meet and greet packages.

the question was if she was going to outlast her, not if she was going to outsell her.
and in fact, she might, she just keeps on getting bigger and bigger with each era, on the other hand, we cant say the same about gaga

She won't. Gaga's too powerful and acclaimed to fade. No matter how many fans or sales she will lose, Katy will fade faster.

Powerful? She doesn't have a manager or a good publicist. She will alienate more in the industry and be blacklisted. That's what probably is happening behind the scenes

Now you are doing too much. Who is she alienating in the industry? She has Donatella, Elton John, Karl Lagerfield, Beyonce, Marc Jacobs, Katy Perry, Lorde, Miley, Xtina, and many more praising her. So you are not making much sense. Her not having a manager means jack squat. Like your going out of your way just to bash her for what?

Probably.
Katy's whole career is built to be safe, commercial, and "All-American".
GaGa just makes herself unlikable to the GP tbh.

With the current lost,2000 and late TFM look, uninspired, dead weight, not planned image and messiness Gaga is vehemently upholding, she'll get knocked plus punched out of the mainstream scene and will only remain relevant in the gay community.
The sis needs to seriously sit her ass down and for the first time in many years re-invent herself.
Katy's image isnt stale yet, so she's very much fine for now.

Possibly, but one underperforming era (for Gaga) won't mean that she can't come back. Gaga still has tours over her and as a persona might actually still be more famous than Katy (?).
However, Katy has always been more consistent, has better management, and she (or her team) will most definitely make better career decisions than Gaga and is much more accepted by the GP (people who listen to Gaga are regularly labelled as "gay" and "weird"). So I wouldn't be surprised if her career is longer.
I don't think she will be the next Madonna though.

No, she may be successful right now but I don't think people will remember her.

Katy has much more longevity.

She did break Asia. Didn't Roar debut higher than Applause in South Korea? She's huge in the Philippines. Gaga needs to break Australia.
Are Gaga's tickets even up for sale yet? Considering how her album sales are plummeted, it is fair for me to be skeptical what her tour gross will continue to be.
