It's impossible to have an honest discussion with you guys, what 1.7m album sales have to do with single sales? TD sold 2.8m albums and it has 8 multi-platinum singles + 1 gold track.

I didn't say a platinum single is not succesful, but it's not the definition of an artist who can sell singles. Beyonce's last multi-platinum single was in 2009.

Teenage Dream sold that after how many years and a re-release, and those singles and their remixes? Not even a good comparison considering B has done all of this in 2 months.

And you did just say a platinum single is not impressive. When it is considering her album is almost 2x platinum on top of that. She can sell albums and a respectable, impressive amount of singles.
