The whole point of Black Lives Matter is to highlight what happens to black people. Saying All Lives Matter is insulting because 1) no one ever said it before Black Lives Matter came along and 2) it's like responding to Black Lives Matter by saying "Yeah, well so do other lives!" when the whole point of Black Lives Matter is to specifically talk about what happens to black people. You guys would think it's wrong if in the middle of talking about the Orlando shootings and hate crimes against gay people, someone said, "Yeah, well, hundreds of people are being killed in the middle east!" or something, which is what ALM insinuates - "Ugh, stop putting all the attention on what happens to black people!"

She should've just tweeted "#LoveWins" or something.

I don't think the meant in in a way to exclude the problems faces by the black community. I honestly think that some people use all lives matter with the up most respect. I think JLO is that person. Other people deff use it to demean the issues faced by the black community, I don't think that was her intention.

I mean the whole thing just seems logical to me? All Lives Matter cannot exist without Black Lives (or any other group being targeted/discriminated) mattering to a point where they are equal as others, otherwise the All Lives Matter statement does not happen.
