You should all be reported for being off topic. The thread is strictly about SALES CONSISTENCY, which has NOTHING to do with vocals, genres or songwriting.

Finally , you say the truth .
The main reason of Carrie sounding more Country than Taylor is Carrie's twangy voice , which can make any song sound Country-ish . If Taylor had a '' twang '' in her voice , she'd sound way more Country .

1) Love Story was Taylor's biggest hit .
2) TSOU barely had radio support . it was a Pop flop , also Taylor's worst selling single .
3) Carrie's best selling sold is BHC and the single after that sold 500,000 .
4) That song didn't stop Taylor from having 3 ( nearly 4 ) platinums after it .

Fixed and thank you
I don't know why you guys are arguing. Taylor is clearly the more consistent in sales here. Numbers do not lie. Carrie is doing great, but Taylor is a very great seller, just look at her album sales. 6.5m to 4m is a bit of decline, but 4m is still big as ****, and Carrie went from 7m to 3m. They can and they will take that one. Taylor has, idk, 17 platinum songs? Carrie has 10.

My point is , not every single has to be a big seller . just like how Carrie had a big single and the single after that had lower sales , Taylor went through that too .
And I know , I was just replying to his / her post . cause it wasn't really fair .

Yeah, lots of album were sold, of course singles would not sell, sadly.
And I wasn't specifically talking about you both, but everybody here There's no discussion. Taylor wins this. Just voted for Carrie because, y'know
