As if the entertainment industry is the only place where people face criticism. People are like that out in the real world too, so let's not act like her not being famous would equal her being comfortable with herself.

The underlying issue is (most probably) her lack of self-esteem, but that doesn't mean that a) she should accept people being mean to her (and people shouldn't be mean to her either, why do they think it's their right) and b) she's not supposed to be famous.

Yes. A lot of people like the way certain artists look/act in terms of personality and makes them enjoy and connect with their music more. Visuals are a whole aspect of music. That's why music videos are released.
