It was a lot harder than I though, and I wrote it in a way that it's a pure pop song.. When I usually write as if it's meant to be a country song.

Songwriting Background: I always use to write verses / choruses / bridges for years but never wrote a complete song. With the help from a friend, Bahjat, he helped me become a better songwriter and taught me many of his tricks. I went from needing one or two other co-writers to finish a song to being able to write a song by myself in a span of fifteen minutes.

Songwriting Background: I've been writing on and off since I was about 10 but after I started my freshman year in college about two years ago, I've been writing a lot more. A lot of my songs have been written at like 3am when i'm laying awake at night in bed because that's when I can just sit and gather my thoughts and feelings. I tend to write better when I'm sad and depressed which is horrible but my 21 era is here to stay
