I'm sad that I didn't comment on 30-26 before, because it's just completely full of WIN. What's more, 20-16 is filled with even more win. YOU'RE SUCH A ***** RENEGADE.
20. Franz Ferdinand - Ulysses
[i]This song came out in late 2008, but didn't really catch on until January of this year. When I first heard this song I was blown away. It was unlike anything I had ever heard before. Today, I never really listen to the song, but at the beginning of the year, I was playing it nonstop.[/i
19. Red - Death Of Me I was really excited when I heard that Red was finally releasing a new album in 2009. When I finally got my hands on the album, I was not disappointed. They stuck to what made them a great band. "Death of Me" wasn't one of the strongest songs on the album, but is still a great song.
18. Slipknot - Snuff Slipknot is one of those bands who can do anything. They can do a heavy metal song and then they can do a ballad like "Snuff." Corey Taylor's vocals are so damn good. I knew when I first heard this on the album that it had to be a single. The song is climbing on both the rock and alternative charts. This one deserves its success.
17. Muse - Uprising It's really hard to say anything about Muse that hasn't already been said. The guys are huge now thanks to Twilight. It's about time they get the recognition they finally deserve. "Uprising" has even found success on the top 40 chart. Hopefully 2010 brings them even more success.
16. Kanye West feat. Mr. Hudson - Paranoid Kanye makes another appearance in the top 50. This won't be the last time you see him...hint hint. Anyway, it seems Kanye released every song off the album as a single, but this was one of the best. I really wish "Paranoid" would have done better on the charts as it really deserved it.
Uprising, Paranoid, and Ulysses are my favorites from this set. I do agree that Paranoid should have done better on the charts. It was such a great song.
