I'd give it a 7. She was amazing in cadillac records and you're really only as good as the script so if you do roles like Austin Powers and Obsessed, you aint gunna get gold from those
It's hit-and-miss with her. She hasn't had too many flubs, yet hasn't exactly come close to hitting a home run. Pitted against most pop singers, she's probably among the best (or at least has had one of the most meritorious acting careers for a pop singer, in comparison to her contemporaries, which really isn't saying much), but when measured on a grander scale, let's just say... I'd much rather she not take a role from a more deserving actress.
