Now, see I disagree. From ITZ to BO was the perfect transition to take her to the next level, but she faultered and did not sustain. The material was there and perfect, but the artist wasn't. Every year since BO, Brit has diminished her legacy. She is most certainly an icon, but being popular for a few years by doing something damn near everyone else was doing, does not make one popular. She is only credited for the bubblegum pop phase because people think she was the first one.
