Season 1
Lion 3: Straight To Video - Rose made me FEEL that maternal love

Alone Together - I think this episode was great because it reminds us that Steven is not just any crystal gem, he is the first of his kind. Steven and Connie fusing might have been foreshadowing on just how emotional and connected fusion is. Also Stevonnie was flawless.

Ocean Gem - Lapis

The Return/Jail Break - This mature and rich atmosphere for these episodes is just another example of what separates SU from other "kids" shows being aired. These episodes were action packed, emotional, revealing, and completely hyped me up for the next season.

Season 2 so far:
Joy Ride - this episode was so cute and such a nice funny break

Story For Steven/We Need To Talk - I just love every episode when Rose makes an appearance because she's just so dazzling as a character. Learning more about her is amazing everytime.

Sworn To The Sword - I love how Connie has progressed from being shy into this mature sophisticated and strong young lady. She wants to be able to fight on her own and protect Steven, her character is an outstanding role model and well executed. Not to mention Pearl's absolute devotion for Rose comes back yet again, highlighting one of Pearl's biggest issues.

Keeping It Together
Cry For Help

These two REALLY punched in exactly how much fusion means to Garnet. And Pearl's huge mistake violating Garnets trust with fusion creates a schism within the gems for the latter episodes. I loved that the issue wasn't "forgotten" and that they really played out exactly how sacred fusion is.

Well, for all we know, she could've been just checking up on them, rather than actually creating them. Peridot coming to Earth was mainly so the gems could stop messing with her tech whenever she did anything related to the Kindergarten/warps. In her mind, she's just doing what her overseers told her to do. She might not even know it was wrong - she seems like a newer gem, and her being unaware of who the Crystal Gems were in "Marble Madness" suggests she might not even know much about the war itself.

And so far, she hasn't really actually attacked the Crystal Gems (aside from the gem warship), it's mostly just been trying to evade capture (notice when she was charging up her beam in the beginning of "Friend Ship" when she attacked them with her plasma beam, she fell back like she wasn't used to handling it). I can see them possibly capturing her in the next couple of episodes - "Catch and Release" has a particularly hinty title, and "Back to the Barn" is gonna have them building robots in a barn. They wouldn't randomly build robots for ***** and giggles, and Pearl, the most tech savvy Crystal Gem, still has trouble with modern technology. But you know who doesn't?

I can see them poofing and/or trapping her, and using her as their resource on Homeworld. She'll help reluctantly, but if she warms up enough to Steven, she may help them without having to be withstrained. I mean, the chance of sabotage would be through the roof, but clearly she's more afraid of them than they are of her, and her comfortableness around Steven (not immediately running from him, mimicing his taunts, non-violently trying to remove him from her foot) shows that he's slowly but surely winning her over. Imo, the shows slogan "Believe in Steven" is central to how the plot will progress throughout the series.
