"stable seller" Erotica sold less than Born This Way in 1992 when album sales were at a high, Bedtime Stories didn't do much better and American Life bombed.

Yeah your right. That was 10 years into her career (with multiple legendary eras in the 80's) So none the less she still was a better seller than Gaga.
