How does that even make sense? It's the equivalent of saying: "Acoustic music is not better than electronic music. Electronic music is hard to make. Therefore, electronic music is better than acoustic music."
I'll let you spot the fallacy on your own.

No, you're just trying to make it seem like she said something wrong.
She did nothing but defend the integrity of electronic music, which is moreso a defense of the producers that she works with than it is of her own talents. She loves electronic music, and she loves co-producing her own tracks, and she rightfully says that it shouldn't be looked down upon.
Coincidentally, as much as the public suddenly thinks acoustic music is more real and "artful", critical acclaim in the past several years has been heavily centered on electronically-produced acts: see Frank Ocean, Kanye West, M83, Robyn, LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, James Blake, Bjork, etc.
And Lana is completely a product of pristine electronic music production, so I don't see why you're fighting this battle.

Gaga strikes me as the type of person who would be above that, and as someone who would just appreciate music for what it is. music is music is music. I don't understand the purpose of labeling a certain type as "better" than another.

But she's not saying it's better. She's saying acoustic is NOT better than electronic, not that either is worse.

Acoustic music isn't necessarily easy but to say that it's better than electronic music just because one doesn't use a program is silly and a huge fallacy.

Sis just because you make your songs on musicshake.com doesn't mean that making radio ready hits is easy. Dismissed!

I was joking
I agree with her statement but everyone will twist this into making it seem like she is pretentious and saying electronic music is better acoustic music.

Some of the failed reading comprehension in this thread
She's right. Every kind of music--acoustic or electronic--requires skill to make. They're very different skills, but both deserve recognition and neither is necessarily more impressive or difficult than the other.

A better question to ask would have been what the public thinks about organic, low maintenance singers/artists and how they are viewed against highly conceptualized, image based artists like Gaga and what the merit is there. The real meat between this argument about Adele vs. Gaga is that they are completely different artists and they go for completely different things and it's worth arguing what makes them different and why one is perceived better than the other. I would have liked to hear her thoughts about that. It's clear Adele's image helped her she was not overly marketed as thin, overtly beautiful or model like but instead her figure was much along the lines of other regular "real" women and her voice was pure and not overtly digitalized. Adele's return to form music and scaled down torch songs lit something within the world. It's something that we haven't seen in years, arguably since the likes of Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill. It's worth asking why does Gaga think that happened and what does she think that means for her and her electronic music?

Just because you have the tools doesn't mean you know how to OPERATE the tools correctly It takes just as much (and more) talent to put those TOOLS into use and create something as glorious as Bad Romance as it does to play an instrument into a microphone. This has nothing to do with Gaga, this has to do with the idea of electronic music being categorized as nothing but trash that is created as easily as pushing a few buttons. And like i said before, I will give u a download link to FL Studio and would like you to make me an amazing pop song.

They need to log off and pay attention in English class
Nowhere does Gaga say acoustic music is inferior to electronic. She is just defending the merits of electronic music by explaining the complex process. She has no reason to diss acoustic, especially since she is one of the only current popstars to give great piano performances.
