I didn't say that he has no influence. But compared to Britney? And the artists he's influenced are not nearly as big as the artists Britney's influenced.
I said he had controversy but less than Britney. Britney was the #1 most-searched person on the Internet for years for a reason. Nothing Eminem ever did was half as big as her head-shaving and VMA performance. Yes, he had controversy. But in what world is a white male with drug problems in to rock'n'roll and hip-hop going to be more shocking and news-grabbing than a Lolita-turned-sex-kitten blonde female that goes on a crazy rampage? Males just don't ever generate that level of controversy even with the same actions. On the same note, it's like expecting a Lolita-turned-sex-kitten blonde female that goes on a crazy rampage to sell as well as a white male with drug problems in to rock'n'roll and hip-hop. These things should not be surprising to people that follow music.
And I agree with Britney. I don't hate Eminem. But it's dumb as **** to say that the most controversial, best-selling, most impactful, etc. male of the millenium is miles bigger than the most controversial, best-selling, most impactful, etc. female of the millenium, especially when they each have different fields they excel in. Can we at least take off our stan glasses and realize they're both legends?
Britney's still the highest selling female of the millenium. It's cute that you tried, though.

But I've never said Brit was not a legend. I just think that Em is more legendary, more respected etc...
I'd be the first one to defend Britney if someone said something about her..
Em is still trying to be better and all whereas Brit just doesn't want anymore and that's why people don't take her seriously...
Btw, i was not only talking about his drugs problem but also his family's. A song like 'Kim' in which he murders his wife caused controversy.
