The Koreas, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Chinas all retain capital punishment too.
I think Singapore hangs people for drug smuggling. Seriously, SMH.

at this "Charmed" greater good ******** logic. That greater good ******** is the cause of so many countries gunning for the US and terrorist killing our citizens left and right.
Killing has never been "necessary"
It's an endless cycle of hate. There's a possibility that 9/11 and so many other horrible incidents would've never happened if it wasn't for the US sticking their noses into other countries and taking the lives of others all because of their warped idea of doing things for the greater good. Who knows how many situations could've been avoided if our own ****ed up government wasn't always trying it in other countries.

Ch... let me adjust my stance here.
1. Capital Punishment is not wrong.
2. The Capital Punishment system in America sucks. It should NOT cost more to off a bitch than to house and feed a bitch for the rest of said bitch's life.

Exactly.

Let's make it quick and use a firing squad instead of expensive, slow lethal injections. Make it quick and humane rather than slow and gruesome.

Well a firing squad doesn't seem any less inhumane or gruesome.

Of course it sucks. There shouldn't be any. I can't see the logic in spending million of dollars on someone that's about to die.

I think when the evidence is irrefutable (and not just "beyond a reasonable doubt"), they should fry ![Celestial 2](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/celestial2_zps8b856a79.gif)

You're so off topic...
But you spoke nothing but the truth.
When other nations kill we call it terrorism. When the U.S (and Israel, especially Israel) kill innocent people it's simply "necessary action", and victims are just collateral. The ultimate hypocrisy. ![shake no](images/smilies/images/smilies/shakeno.gif)

Not true, killing is necessary in some points.
Think about all the wars where the good fights against the bad. The good is going to have to kill in order to ensure the greater good. They can't just stand their with no weapons and expect to win. Imagine if the Allies had no weapons and just stood on the battlefields doing nothing. They would have been ANNIHILATED, and Hitler would have won. I don't know about you, but I'm not here for that ****.
In a perfect world, killing wouldn't be necessary. But we don't live in a perfect world and we can't expect to. As long as their are bad and evil people in the world, which there always will be, killing will be necessary.

It's okay gurl, be mad, let it out. Van is here for you...
But realize that the world we live in unfortunately makes killing necessary.

Mess. You know damn well flying planes into buildings and strapping bombs on your chest is NOT the same thing as sending troops in, in a war.

No I wasn't. Doc started the greater good thing.
And right. People are acting like the US only "responds" to acts of hate. We've invaded other countries and took the lives of others just like they ran into our country and took the lives of our people.

Afghanistan descended into mess status when the lovely Soviets marched in, if it wasn't already like that. Events of the 1980s definitely had an effect on the formation of anti-West terrorism throughout 1990s.
Of course, let's not forget how the sick and twisted Pakistani relationship with India has contributed to terrorism recently. Surprisingly, we can credit that one to the British Empire and not America.
|
An event America wasn't involved in? I'm shocked.

This topic has been done to death. You can't prove that killing is necessary. I will sit back and watch all of this unfold though.

Hitlers reign was an extreme example that justified war. It's safe to say thought that most wars aren't fought with the intention of ending genoicide. It's also safe to say that most wars are fought for ******** reasons, those inspired by a deadly combination of inflated ego's and unchecked power.

World War I, World War II, American Revolution, Civil War... that's what I'm talking about.
I'm not going to defend the stupid wars lol. I'm defending wars that are Good vs. Bad.
Already did. ![yoda](images/smilies/images/smilies/yoda.gif)

I can't fault you for your perspective because you're obviously completely oblivious to U.S history and our involvement in foreign countries affairs. We've dropped bombs on civilains in Panama, Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other countries.
The difference is we simply call it a "war" or "necessary action", ironically the ones who try to (or do) attack us also consider their actions to be for "war", but we've determined that terrorism sounds much nicer.
