To me, I'm fine with Tony Bennett saying that. Obviously a duet would never happen between the two. I think he knows Britney is a pop star...if he knows gaga and xtina...he knows Britney but it's whatever. He's a legend and can get away with it.
ppl shouldn't be mad when it is obvious that his old azz was goated into taking a dig at her. Ppl still using God.ney to get press. The power of God.ney...keeping dem gorls hungry and thirsty...sips tea.
And I love Britney, but a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording isn't exactly anything special.
The poster implied that she had no Grammy awards. It's the most prestigious category in the Dance field. It's no different from Tonny's wins in the traditional field.
Bless his heart, honestly. First he says that Gaga will be as big as Elvis and now he's saying he doesn't know what one of the most iconic and successful female popstars of all time does.
I mean...She doesn't have a strong enough voice to contribute anything. I think what he meant is that he doesn't know what she would do in a song with him. She doesn't really sing anymore.
Yet she hit a D5 in 'Inside Out' on 'Femme Fatale,' a note she didn't hit since 'Oops!...I Did It Again.'
And I don't see why Britney fans are aggravated. Just accept that aside from individuality and good producers, she doesn't have much to offer as far as talent comes. No shade, just being realistic.

I hardly think tony Bennett is rocking to Britney spears music so his comment makes sense. Just because our lives might revolve around a celeb does not mean everyone else's does

@ all these bitter stupid stans.
He never said he doesn't know who she is. He said "I don't know what she does" and probably meant he doesn't know what she would contribute to a duet. And like the writer wrote, it is a good point. What exactly would Britney contribute to a duet with him?
