Obviously not. An iconic era implies memorable songs, videos, and/or performances. GaGa had NONE of those this time. Not one single has lasted, not one video was talked about, and I don't even remember any performance despite her literally giving 100+ of them.

The whole era was a mess and the general public is over her. The front loaded sales prove it. The GP won't remember anything about this era, while the online community will only remember the 99 cent fiasco.

BTW has sold almost another 1m in half year time. That's even better than most of her peers tbh.

Sales are sales, doesn't matter when, frontloaded or selling constantly.

It may be, in the future. The music will stand the test of time unlike a lot of other pop music from 2011. The fact that she stepped out of the box and stood out from the current trends will only help gather praise and respect from future listeners imo.
