The question was the most saddest not the most shocking but I can see why someone on the outside looking in would say that. Her death was sad though, many would brag that they "saw it coming" and even more people dragged her name through the mud when she actually did die. Amy Winehouse was definitely one of the best singers of the 2000s. A talent like her was rare. Back To Black was a classic, people were rooting for her to sober up and make a comeback like Robert Downey Jr. Her last concert was downright heartbreaking and she dead within a month, thus making it all sad.

Selena Quintanilla's death will forever be The Saddest for me and I don't even speak Spanish. She was just so naturally talented and captivating like the female Freddie Mercury. She died all because she trusted too easily. Robin Williams is now gonna be on that list Definitely the saddest of this year. It's crazy because I remember watching his last interview, his Game face is so strong.

Brittany Murphy definitely shocked me out for a while. I was on my way to take a 12 hours trip to another city when I read she passed.

Robin and Heath make me sad, both of them were kinda favorites to me. Also Amy Winehouse, I was expecting her to recover and make a huge comeback.

Saw the thread title and immediately thought of Amy. I'm not lying I literally cried when I heard she died. Back to black was the album always playing in our family car when I was in high school. I love her so much I think I even love her more than Gaga & Rihanna

Aaliyah takes the cake then Robin. I wasn't really a fan (per se) of Philip Seymour Hoffman but the way he died just killed me. That really had an effect on me, celebrity death-wise at least.
