I understand what you're saying, but is Amber really shaming anyone here? No, it was Alecia who did the shaming. Feminism is indeed a two way street. Yes, everyone should be working to continue improving the world and the quality of life for (oppressed) women. But that doesn't mean ladies can't turn around and be sexy, or housewives, or strippers, or socialites. Feminism is equality. Equality is freedom to do what you want. End of.

I think you, like many people, don't understand feminism's role in this situation. None of them are saying that it's feminist to become famous for dating someone famous, or releasing a sex tape. The point is that they aren't hurting anybody and they can do whatever they want with their body or their rising fame. And for someone to go out of their way to degrade woman and ****-shame them for this IS misogynistic and they have every right to call out these people.

You can EASILY tell youth to do the best they can without bringing down people like Kim and Amber, don't play dumb

I've seen important women with uni degree do nude shoots for breast cancer awareness or even singer with a important message in a song etc- those women do it to bring attention to something important and make the world a better place. Kim does it because she has NOTHING to offer. She's disrespected- Happy people are calling her out for it.

Arguably it's setting a destructive precedent and culture for young women. Nowadays you are hearing girls as young as the elementary school level saying they want to be famous when they grow up. And when ask them "what for?" they say they don't know. When society tells women you can get by resting on your looks and marrying rich, It's diminishing the efforts of feminists who are trying to get young girls into STEM jobs and what not to challenge the patriarchy.

You say it's wrong to uplift one kind of woman and shame another. But the and of the day what Amber does and what Hillary Clinton does stem from 2 completely opposing cultures. And the only thing that happens when you uplift women like Amber Rose is that you less women strive to become educated and talented.

You might not agree with P!nks methods but when it comes down to the crunch. Her values >>>> Ambers.

So people do charity nude shoots. That’s fine.
So people post nude self portraits online. That’s not fine?

Is nudity a form of currency that can only be spent in certain situations? Are you implying that only people who can afford university degrees are eligible to show their bodies because they have proven that they have “worth”? Is nudity something shameful to you that needs to be rationalized by a good deed? Kim likely has more to offer, but she’s carved out a niche that works for her.
