And I admire what they have done, but other than the really recent ones (who wouldn't be added till later or posthumously), a lot of their inventions weren't as significant as, say, creating the Internet or inventing the light bulb

so creating the toilet, stove, radiator, spark plug, refrigerator, mailbox, elevator, blood plasma bag, blood bank, air conditioner etc... you use all the damn time is not as impressive
