Britney Spears is the Princess of Pop for a reason! She is POP CULTURE. She one of the BIGGEST pop stars that has ever LIVED and she will CONTINUE to get hits and make people like YOU salty.

This is true, Britney is the definition of a popstar and she created POP Culture in the 00's. Before that there was Madonna who is the biggest legend in female pop but it feels more like a world of pop music was created when Britney came out, the clones and the influence on her years was out of this world.

Also, if a popstar (which essentially is a singer) cannot actually sing live, then how are they not manufactured? If they have no essential abilities as a singer, then they are just being marketed right, given the right writers and producers, are dressed a certain way, etc. You're not an artist you're an image.

Why is that so hard to believe? You cannot pretend like she wasnt completely manufactured by her label for the first 10 years of her career...

Exactly. And why do you think you can clone Britney so easily (not to success necessarily but in image, music, voice, etc.)… because she is manufactured.

No one is saying Britney isn't manufactured, we are just saying artists like Beyoncé are as manufactured if not more than her.

I don't think you understand the question. This is about pop stars whose sound and image were created entirely by a record label. The Wal-Mart wearing, Cheeto-eating girl is the "real Britney Spears." Britney Spears the entertainer... is an entirely manufactured and controlled person.

Swissman she is manufactured, all popstars are, you just think that because some other acts have a better singing voice the can skip the manufactured label when in reality they are as manufactured as Britney.

How tf did this become a hive v. the army thread.
Moreover, why is Lethal in every thread bashing Britney. SMH.
Every popstar is manufactured. That is a good thing because we see what happens when they aren't (Lady Gaga.)
Britney, Beyonce and Taylor Swift are the most manufactured.
Britney for obvious reasons. For everyone who says she has had no imput in her career, yall need to actually learn history before commenting on stuff. BOMT, Toxic, etc were because of Britney. Especially since all the groups didn't want BOMT and Britney was fought on it.
Beyonce for obvious reasons as well. She manufactured herself and her image. She is the perfectly manufactured Pop star, and she did it all herself. This is why she is so great.
I don't have to go into Taylor Swift because it is obvious as well.

@PULSE: How do you have this much time to spam yet no time to reply to my post. You said Britney was manufactured for stating she was a virgin. So I posted Beyonce singing "Yes," a song she "wrote" and "produced" about remaining a virgin. Does your concession mean that you agree Beyonce is manufactured? Or is it just coincidence that she followed in Britney's footsteps almost half a decade later?

Deluded. Britney has no creative control of her brand whereas Beyonce wrote 90% of DC's songs and she's had a hand in producing all of her songs since 2006. I can't say the same for Britney.

You do know Bey's songwriting scandals started mainly with Survivor, right?
