Pretty much this. This video, I can't. There's SO much they could have done with the prom/graduation concept, but they didn't dig deep enough. Then there's the direction and editing that just looks a mess. Then, even despite the editing, Avril just refused to lipsync with enthusiam and professionalism at the end there, which is just like why

Like, the video isn't even BAD, it just could've been so much more. I was hoping it would be so much more, but it wasn't, and I'm underwhelmed. I think Shane Drake or The Malloys could've done a MUCH better job with this. Oh, well. Her close-ups were stunning and she's adorable. And the Let Go throwback was obviously a VERY nice touch. Lemme quickly make a new avi!

If you guys want to talk about the "out of sync" audio, keep in mind that it's because the scenes are in slow motion. Avril had to lipsync the song TWICE as fast to capture this effect on video, sort of like the I'm With You video. The lipsyncing isn't going to be flawless if you have to say the words twice as fast.

So then why did she do it so flawlessly in said "I'm With You" music video, but not in this one?

mehhhhhhhhh the Complicated throwback was awesome but also the only thing worth watching. The direction overall was just slow and uninspiring :| I thought WTH and Smile were bland but they were more fun to watch than this.
