Honestly it was a really good performance. She did what she could with the song (which is a midtempo).

It shouldn't be compared to Beyonce, who performed like 7 songs and had insane production. If Britney was given the chance to do the same then it would be a different story.

Overall I think Britney did great and the song is number 2 on iTunes so clearly people do care. The writer sounds like a secret Beyonce stan.

Okay that's fine but why did MTV hype it up as something else based on that promo video they released? With the python and alladat? It was just misleading but Britney is by no means accountable for that but still lol

Britney did the least possible she could do and prepared for 2 days and it showed.
