Top 100 Songs (80-76)
80.
"Downtown"
Lady Antebellum
Golden
"I don't know why you don't take me downtown like you got anywhere better to be..."
Lady Antebellum is charting again in a year countdown. Best country group at the moment for me (as Dixie Chicks are in hiatus). This is their first appearance of two.
79.
"I Want Crazy"
Hunter Hayes
Hunter Hayes (Encore)
"Yeah I don't want easy, I want crazy, are you with me baby? Let’s be crazy..."
It’s sad that “I Want Crazy” is so underrated. Everything’s great in this song, and makes me feel free in a way I’ve never felt before.
78.
"Team"
Lorde
Pure Heroine
"Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams, and you know, we're on each other's team..."
Grammy snubbed Lorde in “Best New Artist” category, and that doesn’t mean she didn’t deserve. The only reason that “Team” is not higher is that the song was released as a single a little late. Expect to this song to chart again next year. This is her first appearance here of three.
77.
"Do I Wanna Know?"
Arctic Monkeys
AM
"I dreamt about you nearly every night this week, how many secrets can you keep?..."
Arctic Monkeys always release great songs everytime. I love the band, and that’s all I need to say.
76.
"Everything"
Nine Inch Nails
Hesitation Marks
"I survived everything, I have tried everything..."
Trent Reznor is back this year with an amazing album. “Everything” has strong lyrics that stuck in my head when I listened to it for the first time.
