Glad to know you loved Paramore's album. I think Brand New Eyes is still my favorite but I was happy with this album too. Yeezus is crazy good! I need to check out this CHVRCHES band.

Fair points about the Paramore album. it is definitely the album of theirs that I like the most, but like you, i'm not sure if it will find a place on my list (why am I bringing up my list? Who gives a ****!). I also really love the NIN album. Very shocked that it didn't make your main list! I also agree with you on the Arcade Fire album. I liked it quite a bit, but it's definitely my least favourite they have done. I guess expectations played a part in it. Love CHVRCHES! You are 100% right on the Bowie record. it is incredible. And Yeezus! Great thoughts on it. It really is amazing how much Kanye accomplished (with Rubin right beside him editing his ideas) in such a short amount of time.

I've never been a big fan of Paramore but I'm interested by their poppier songs lately. The self-titled is on my long list of albums that I need to check out. Arcade Fire are very interesting as well, not really my cup of tea though.
Yeezus for me is kind of disappointing. The production is insane and will easily blow you away the first listen but when you listen to it again and again you will be able to realize how bad the lyrical content was delivered. It's probably his worst album lyrically.
Reflektor is great imo. The first CD was boring but the second really captivated me.
CHVRCHES' was fine but I'm still arguing if it's worthy of putting in my Top 20 albums.
I haven't heard of David Bowie's. Downloading now!
Paramore is great but I agree that it didn't really deserve top 10! So many great albums released this year.
Reflektor is pretty good, so is Bowie album.
I personally really love Chvrches album, but to be honest, I expected a little more, especially after The Mother We Share & Recover.
And, of course, Yeezus is godly. The most attention-grabbing production I've heard in my life
Paramore + Arcade Fire were both cool albums, but i only played them once each.
THE NEXT DAY, on the other hand, completely amazed me. It was my first (and is still my only) Bowie record, but I love it so damn much. "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" alone made that album more than worth buying.
Arcade Fire! I need to listen to the album in full, but I didn't have time this year
