With that kind of logic countries with, for example, minimal black population should stay racist by default cause there's no one authorized enough to educate them.

Apparently they were concerned with the lack of white thinkers and authors being taught in the class. His fellow professors support him and he was actually teaching great black female authors and kind of just using Beyonce as a draw to the class.
Also, someone said that with "lack of interest" classes will be canceled. This class was full every semester and apparently one of the reasons to cancel it was because it was "drawing away from other classes."

Of course I don't agree with HIM teaching it.. I'm just pissed that people are acting like these issues are not important. You can say that another person should be teaching the class, but to say that it shouldn't exist at all is insulting.
So just b/c I'm not a black woman, I can't teach a class on Black Feminism? I thought education was objective.
