That's not how it works at any major concert.

U2, for instance, in their 360º Tour, aka the biggest tour of all time, the opening act would begin at around 8:10-8:20, end around 9; U2 would take the stage at 9:20-9:30.

When the show starts at 8, doors are open at 7.

Most of tíme I enter the venue (which usually is very early) the opening act is already playing.

So they are finished at 9, let's say 9.30.

1 hour waiting is still a lot.

I'm not talking about non-stans or/and non-internet people, I'm talking about the HATERS in here creating a thread every other day to say "oh lawdy, that's so awffffffuullll, late again *faints in southern style*" like she's starting at 8:30 one night, 12 the next, 9:30 following that. She's starting at a uniform time and the people who put up the threads in here know that. They just want to slam her any chance they get because of being pressed about her success and they want to make old jokes.

I don't disagree about general fans. The venue should find a way to alert ALL ticket-holders that the concert will not get started until around 10:30 pm. Put up a sign at the venue before hand. Send out a mailing with the actual schedule.

That seems reasonable, and is actually one hour ahead of the Born This Way Ball schedule.

Regardless they wait about 30 minutes to an hour because the opening act does take about 1 hour and half at times and starts at 8.

this is not a U2 thread boo anyway it's how Madonna works. When I went to see her in Portugal it was like that, give or take a few minutes.

Her opening acts are just DJ's spinning radio hits and remixing her old songs. They do perform for more than a hour at times. Lol

This basically. Since 10:30 is unusually late for this kind of concert. If it is common with Madonna ok - but obviously it's uncommon with many general people who fail to stroll around pop and fan forums.
