It's not really my kind of movie either (uplifting "message" movie about race and strong Southern women), but it's hard not to love. The cast alone - Emma Stone (the scene where she finds out what happened to her maid
), Viola Davis (the scene where she reveals what happened to her son + her final scene
), the actress playing Minnie (the pie scene
), Bryce Dallas Howard (great fun as the villainess), Sissy Spacek (hilarious as her mom), the girl who played the dazed Monroe-esque character - makes it worth it.
