I know R&B don't represent an entire race of people, but they are public figures that have worked harder than their contemporaries to see success.

Can't argue with you. I think, sadly, we just have to wait for people to die off. There's still a lot of racism, yes, but I feel like most of that is within the older age groups. Yes, we have young kids today who are racist, but I feel most of it is in an insensitive and ignorant way rather than just a hateful "I'm better than you cause I'm white" kind of way that this older generation grew up thinking.

Then again, maybe I'm just being hopeful.

I understand racism is still very real, but so are a lot of things. I just don't think blaming all Christians or all white people or whatever is going to make anything better.

This is funny to me . You can't want respect when you don't deserve it . Are they supposed to be representative of ALL white people, and white people as a whole don't deserve respect because "they don't respect themselves" ? Don't generalize. You look ignorant.
