Just because she said Gaga was not sexy that makes her stupid? Than i guess 90% of the world is too. The only thing celebrities are taking away from models are US Vogue covers and very few ads, they remain taking care of the fashion world, as it shoud be.

Read Nicoles post which I referred to before writing an essay about what you presume I am saying.

I'm not sure if her costume of a bra and knickers is about sex appeal as much as it is about lampooning pop singers who regularly perform in that look.
|
She's doesn't have the self-awareness necessary for such mockery.

It's a great, striking cover. But she's not really sexy. Neither is Lara Stone with her albino gap-toothed look, though. Full-on sexy is what Victoria Secret models do.

As a straight girl there are not many women I find sexy, she is one of them. It is her attitude and talent in equal parts with her appearance. Anyone who has seen the Monster Ball live must know that she has sex appeal when she wants to use it.

UAE, I Think She Looks Beautiful In The Vanity Fair Shoot,
But It Doesn't Necessarily Increase Her Sex Appeal To Me

Real high fashion embraces weird, sometimes even ugly. So Gaga's lacking looks aren't really an issue to designers. In an age when the supermodel is on the decline, a lot of important people in the fashion industry (McQueen, Wintour, Lagerfeld, Gaultier, Armani, Versace, Jacobs, etc) have flocked to Gaga b/c she's more famous than the models, and unlike other big celebrities she doesn't say no to the ugliest, weirdest, most out there outfits. She's a great, high-profile canvas for them to try out pretty much anything they want.

There's no need for models to be pissed at Gaga. Gaga wears the designer's clothes for press, the models sell the clothes and get their money. Everyone is happy.

Lara must be pressed because Gaga, a musician, is curretly more relevant to fashion than Lara will ever be.

They both do the same thing, models wear the clothes for press Runway and catalogs are for press, it's more fundamental to make Gaga wear them because she draws more attention.

This period. See my avi, The MB is a great example. She always has all the confidence and is always so comfortable in flaunting what she's got when she's up on that stage. Even just talking to her fans "do you think I'm sexy" " I'll die if you don't clap for me" etc etc that's sexy imo.

The reason that there's no longer any Supermodels is because the fashion industry killed them off. The designers weren't happy that the women wearing their clothes overshadowed their work. The Supermodels became too famous and it distracted from what they were supposed to be doing; selling the product. Angelina Jolie was replaced in the adverts for St John because they felt she had become too famous and was overshadowing the brand. That's what happened with the Supermodels, only now it's the actresses who replaced them. They all died out except for the legendary Kate Moss, and within the past decade the only model to truly earn the status was Gisele. If the industry wants them, then Supermodels will return. There's still numerous girls in the Industry that are very high profile. Not many people may know their names, but they recognise their faces. These girls earn millions, they're more than happy. Another thing you don't understand is the blatant snobbery within this industry. It thrives on pretension, they care not for fame because they are above it all.

Lady Gaga Irks Kate Moss And Naomi Campbell After Being Added To i-D Photo Shoot: Report
It seems that you won't find Kate Moss' or Naomi Campbell's name on the long list of Lady Gaga fans. The Daily Mail reports that it was supermodels versus the songstress at a recent photo shoot for i-D magazine.
Just Moss and Campbell were supposed to star in i-D's September issue but at the last minute, they were told that they'd be posing with Gaga. A source said, "Naomi and Kate refused to play second fiddle to Gaga and insisted on having their own retouching done, so they were all shot separately." Supposedly there will now be three different covers.
Yikes. Talk about a bad romance...

Gaga is only sexy when she intends to be. Walking around in lingerie is never meant to be sexy on her part, but her criticism of the industry in Bad Romance was meant to present a sexualized image of herself, and I for one, think she showed there that she is quite capable of being sexy.
