To be fair, you can know what a song is and not know the artist. I knew what Just Dance was, but didn't know who Lady Gaga was until this whole Christina mess. And most people I know are the same way. They wouldn't be able to name Lady Gaga and they especially don't know what she looks like considering most of us stopped caring about music videos. As long as we have the radio/our ipods, we're good haha.
And, to whoever said Lady Gaga said Andy Warhol is one of her influences, that doesn't have much to do with the "copying" thing considering Christina has been saying for a long time now that her next album would be Andy Warhol inspired, tokyo inspired, or whatever she said. I don't remember verbatim.
She doesn`t know who Lady Gaga is. Where does she live? Mars? 
but she is barely catching on in the US.
