I agree whole heartedly, they have the freedom to express themselves in any which way BUT at the same time I wish some of these white entertainers were more vocal about appropriation. Because whenever we say something were "compalining" and should shut up.

Because they were inherently different? No, of course not, to suggest so is just racism, obviously it was geographic and environmental factors in Africa that created barriers and held them back.

African Americans? A totally different story. Their contributions to modern culture and society are immense. But there is no need to twist African history for an agenda, it makes you no better than the pro-European white washing historians of the 19th and 20th centuries.

I'm pretty sure Elvis did credit the influence of his sound; he just lived in an era where society were reluctant to see blacks as influencing whites as this would place them above their station.

Braids- I'm sure many cultures of various races have history of braids. You need to remember that there was a time when Africans ruled Europe for 700+ years. I believe one of the rulers was named Hector.

Stats are just numbers. It doesn't provide the bigger picture or context, and often is based on a sample which is then extrapolated in a broader sense. Most staticians would recommend not to take to much stock from them. Zendaya doesn't say anything about interracial violence.

Actually they did contribute to civilisation, it's just that any contribution was discounted.

A lot of the stuff we see today are influenced by ancient civilisations all over the world; these folk were not dummies. Also, Africa was very wealthy with resources (gold, diamonds, money, etc) in ways Europe was not.
