Stefani Germanotta reeks of insecurity.
Just look at her twitter feed full of meltdowns and contradictions.

Madonna is not overly insecure. No one could do the things she's done over her career and stuck by them if they were a flake. You only need to see how Ms Germanotta reacts to the slightest bit of criticism to see what real insecurity looks like. A Body Revolution that lasts until she's crash dieted again and can show her rib cage in a V Magazine photoshoot, blaming others for DWUW video not being ready and then later for the Applause video, and basically saying ARTPOP hasn't really started yet because it flopped. Madonna has never done hyper defensive and panicked things like that.
She's challenging ageism, just like she challenged sexism, Madonna has always been a warrior fighting against conventional paradigms, that's kinda what made her the legend she is now
