Okay, this is my person interpretation about Monstervision Number 5:
In the beginning of the film, we see Gaga walking in a straight line as she throws white roses on the ground, I think this represents her walking down an aisle. She is prepping herself for marriage, but to whom? Or, more specifically, what?
Gaga is miserable because she is not as famous as she used to be, she makes a weird connection to Isabella Blow, who became very suicidal at the end of her career due to her
waning celebrity status.
Gaga strips naked and washes herself with a bar of FAME soap, she is submitting herself to her love of Fame and is breaking the rules of who she is (Born This Way) to do so. Basically, she wants to push her boundaries of art, while also maintaining her celebrity status. She refers to this as a challenge she must overcome.
The end is sort of the "Private in Public" moment that gives insight to her sadness. In order to complete this challenge, she must give herself to the people. However, in doing so she is losing her privacy, and becoming a product for human consumption. Maybe she feels she is losing her own humanity, and is becoming a robot? This could be provide an interesting connection to the lyric "a hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with sticks and strings."
This is my hypothesis, and it's completely for fun. I hope nobody takes it too seriously.
