Really? I honestly think season 17 wasn't amazing. better than season 16 but i didn't think it was as good as season 15. i still prefer the normal big brother though

This was easily the most iconic CBB season so far. I mean, Tiffany and Gemma were just something else. And Angie Bowie. The trinity.

It's definitely up there, but CBB4 with Chantelle, Preston, Pete Burns, Michael Barrymore etc will probably always be the most famous season. Also CBB5 but for all the wrong reasons.

CBB4 and CBB5 will never be topped, let's face it. They're (especially CBB5) among the most memorable TV moments in British history.

The ratings for those two seasons were INSANE. Plus BB7, which was wedged inbetween, was pulling like 5m+ viewers some nights. The finale rated 8.2m.

I did some research and Jade Goody's CBB5 eviction pulled 8.8 million viewers. The highest rated CBB episode in history.

The race row was SUCH a huge deal back then. Jade was literally public enemy #1 back then.

Although it was essentially CBB5 that ruined the BB brand. It marked the end of the golden era and the summer series that year got much lower ratings than BB7.

BB8 was messy, though. That's the season where all the launch night housemates were female and then 2 days later they put 1 male in.
